Close to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and Rapid City yet remote in the Black Hills

The Getaway is a place to unwind, enjoy the beauty of the Black Hills, and still be close to the tourist attractions; Mt. Rushmore is 11 miles, Keystone is 10 miles, Custer State Park is 5 miles, and Rapid City is 25 miles.  We are located in the hills, approximately four miles down a well-maintained gravel road with four units which creates a private intimate setting.  Our location allows you to enjoy the tourist’s sights, shopping, attractions, local lakes and hiking and then, when you are ready to get away from it all, you can retreat to the Getaway. 

We have 19 acres of rolling pastures surrounded by tree covered hills.  There are hiking, mountain biking, and four wheeling trails located next door to us.

We have an outdoor area for our guests.  There is a fire-pit, picnic table, loungers and games available. The outdoor area is great for starting the day with a cup of coffee, enjoying happy hour at the end of the day, sitting around the fire-pit at night, or star gazing.  

Have some outdoor fun playing cornhole toss, kubb, badminton, throwing freebies, or shooting some hoops.  There is a basketball hoop located within eyesight and hearing but far enough to allow the adults to relax without having to dodge the basketball or talk over the kids playing.
